Killeen Cottage

The name “Killeen” come from the gaelic word which translates in english as” Little Church”. It is the ancestral home of the O’Donoghues who were one of the powerful gaelic clans in Kerry in times past. Like the Dinis style cottages, these holiday homes are suitable for larger families, family groups, and family re-unions, Hill walking clubs, Orienteering groups, and Wedding parties. With all three bedrooms having its own en suite bathroom, they provide an additional level of comfort.

The Living Area is Open plan; furnished with old style wall dresser, dining table with sugan chairs, lounge seating, attractive wall lighting and pictures; Liscannor flagstone floor with attractive floor rugs; open heart fireplace;multichannel colour tv, and direct dial telephone. Bedroom 1 is downstairs : one double bed. Bedroom 2 upstairs: one double bed and one single bed. Bedroom 3 upstairs: one double bed and one single bed. All three bedrooms are carpeted throughout. The Kitchen is Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and clothes dryer, full size electric cooker, coffee maker; full supply of cutlery, crockery and glassware. All three bedrooms have a full ensuite bathroom complete with Bath/shower, washbasin and toilet.

    * The Killeen and Torc style cottages have Liscannor flagstones in the living/dining area style and in the Dinis style cottage this area is tiled.
