Description

The cottage has a seating area on the private front terrace & BBQ/al fresco dining area just outside from where you can hear the Fisherman's Friends singing on a Friday evening. The attractive adjacent greenhouse can be used to dine outside whilst keeping off the chill & weather whilst maintaining the fabulous view. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and spectacular coastline with excellent beaches, walks, surfing and sailing very near by. 2 twin bedrooms (convertible to double) and 1 twin room (bunk & single). The bathroom, with shower, has recently been modernised. The kitchen has all the mod cons and lounge/diner has flat screen TV, DVD, CD player and open fire.

Accessibility
Accessibility is a bit limited for those with mobility problems. It is possible but you have to cross the front of the next door house and negotiate one good sized step. All bedrooms are upstairs.

Outside
Private front terrace, BBQ patio, green house which can be used for outside dining with patio furniture set up to retain the fabulous view. Very private rear garden (to be used entirely at the guests risk).

Coast/Beach
Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Port Isaac has its own harbour and beach. The cottage lies on the coastal footpath and the walk up the hill provides breathtaking rugged coastal scenery. A short drive gets you to Polzeath, famous for it's surf, Daymer Bay (great for families), Rock and Padstow. To the north is Trebarwith, Tintagel and Boscastle. The Camel Estuary has sailing and watersports as well as the Camel Trail old railway bicycle trail.

Travel
It is recommended you visit by car as the nearest train station is Bodmin. Newquay is the nearest airport (~25 miles) where car hire is available.
By car Plymouth - 1 hour; Exeter - 1 1/4 hr; Truro - 40 mins.

Distances
Wadebridge (Tesco) - 9 miles; Bodmin (Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's) - 15 miles.
Polzeath - 4 miles; Tintagel - 7 miles;

Further details
Port Isaac has a small (but good) Co-Op, good quality restaurants and the pub does great food (& beer!!!). There are a number of tourist shops and galleries in the village selling a wide variety of nick nacks and pictures
