Barbados

Barbados is a beautiful Caribbean island that enjoys a stunning climate throughout much of the year and is full of places to visit and things to do whilst staying in one of the many holiday homes that the region has to offer. Obviously Barbados does not share any direct borders with other nations but it is situated in close proximity to other islands such as Saint Vincent, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and the South American mainland is also relatively close. The low lying land area of Barbados is 166 square miles of beauty and tranquillity, and if you are looking to explore the area then you can do no better than booking one of the many holiday homes from our website. Barbados is rather unique in that it is made up of mostly limestone coral at its foundation, the reef was pressed up by the Caribbean and South American plates to form the island.

Barbados is also (uniquely) the only part of a mountain range that rises above the surface of the ocean. When staying in holiday homes in the area you will be able to explore the tropical beauty of the island and investigate the woodland and mangrove areas. The low lying land of Barbados allows for a large variety of spectacular panoramic views from many parts of the island, indeed many holiday homes allow you to enjoy sweeping vistas and spectacular scenery from their windows. The small central highland region of Barbados is full of holiday homes to stay in and is ripe for exploring at your leisure, and it offers stunning scenery and dramatic views. Bridgetown is the capital of the island and many holiday homes are situated around this area.

This allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity outside of the capital whilst still having access to all of the modern amenities you may expect. The dry season in Barbados runs from December to May with most holiday homes specialising in lets this time of the year, whilst the June to November wet season is slightly less popular with tourists. World class accommodation is available in a variety of locations and the stunning beaches and relaxing atmosphere draw many tourists each year to enjoy everything that this unique island nation has to offer. From duty free shopping to a bouncing night life, through to beautiful wildlife reserves and scuba diving, you can be sure that holiday homes in Barbados will offer a stunning break away from home for you to enjoy.
